Why product name is not a safe join key
The reason this screen exists at all.
Where both systems name the same package, the two names agree after normalisation only 8.6 % of the time. Flowhub writes “Blackberry Kush T2 AIO (2g)”; Metrc has the same package as “Timeless AIO T2 - 2000mg Disposable Vape - Blackberry Kush”.
The Metrc label is a reliable key wherever it is well-formed — all 7,395 are distinct — but 48 packages carry free-typed junk in that field, and 3,917 Metrc packages have no Flowhub SKU at all. Those must be matched by name, and until a person confirms them they stay unmatched. That is the rule, not a limitation of this build.
